AVF Marseille is an association created to welcome newcomers and promote the beauties and cultural resources of Marseilles and its surroundings.
Our association is composed of natives and people from other regions who have moved to the city for professional or personal reasons.
Our members who have been living in Marseilles for more than 3 years dedicate some of their free time to organise different kinds of activities, giving the other members a great opportunity to make new friends and discover the area from a locals’ perspective.
Newcomers can also be “active” and are very welcome to introduce the Marseillais to some aspects of their own culture.
Conviviality and friendship are 2 major values in our association and anyone sharing these values is welcome to join, whatever their age and origin.

Here are some examples of ACTIVITIES that have been organised so far :

• Visits of historical districts in Marseilles

• Concerts, movies or theatre outings

Special “Welcome” evenings are organised every Friday at "Maison de la Mer" - Plage du Prophète, 13007 Marseille.
